Jessica Laurentcia

Jessica Laurentcia Marpaung, born on May 7, 1997, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Her dedication, perseverance, and love for the sport have propelled her towards remarkable achievements, including her recent selection as a trainee for the prestigious NZSJ Swimming Camp in 2024.
 

Growing up in a family of athletes made her interested in trying various sports until swimming was what made her fall in love.

Because of her passion in swimming, in 2015 Jessica continued her bachelor’s degree in sports science at Jakarta State University. After completing bachelor , in 2021 Jessica got the opportunity for a master’s degree scholarship in the country of the red bear at Tomsk State University, Russia.

 

Jessica’s journey from the shores of Jakarta to the esteemed NZSJ Swimming Camp exemplifies the transformative power of passion, perseverance, and dedication. With her talent, determination, and unwavering spirit, she is poised to make a significant impact on the world of swimming and inspire generations to come. As she dives into the next chapter of her career, Jessica continues to embody the true essence of a champion both in and out of the pool.
