Our Values
At New Zealand School Jakarta, our values are more than just words — they are lived every day in our classrooms, playgrounds and community. Our four core values guide how we learn, grow and relate to one another:
Growth / Whakatipu
Symbolized by the koru (unfurling fern frond), we nurture curiosity, creativity and a love for lifelong learning. We believe every learner has the potential to grow — academically, socially and personally.
Wisdom / Mātauranga
Represented by the ponga (silver fern), we seek knowledge, think critically and apply our learning with purpose. This value reflects our commitment to deep thinking, cultural understanding, and ethical decision-making. We foster environments where learners can reflect, inquire, and act with insight and integrity.
Resilience/ Manawaroa
