Waitangi day 2026

Dear Parents and Families,
We are delighted to share one of the most anticipated events on our school calendar -our Waitangi Day Celebration, taking place on Friday, 13 February 2026. This special evening will bring our community together to honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi through culture, storytelling, and student voice.
As part of the celebration, our students will present a meaningful and lively drama performance that brings to life a part of New Zealand’s history. This event is a celebration of partnership, respect, and shared learning — values at the heart of our school.
Important Note:
All students will be participating in the performance and do not need to purchase tickets. Tickets are required for parents and family members only. Proceeds from ticket sales and merchandise will support our school fundraising initiatives.
